Strebord panels are usually fixed directly and simply to the supporting structural steelwork using self-tapping screws. Ensuring the longer tongue is uppermost, the boards are laid in a traditional staggered, brick-bond pattern. Joints should be tightly formed and all short edges supported. A minimum 10mm expansion gap is normally recommended between the deck edge and any wall.

Following these simple guidelines will give a smart, secure finish and when stiffly and evenly supported, Strebord may accommodate hand pallet truck loadings exceeding 1.0 ton dependent on support centres. If in any doubt as to the load requirements, please apply for technical advice. Call us on 01375 487 300 or complete our Enquiry Form.
